BCST
biodynamic craniosacral therapy
From now through May 2028, I am training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy under the guide of:
Ruti Wagaki, RCST; Paula Potts, RCST; Arwen Milroy, RCST; Dr. Jada Daniel, RCST; and Zoraida Palacios Rubel, RCST.
As part of this 2 year training, I must give 150 hours of BCST.
Sessions can be held in-person or remotely.
In return for your feedback, I am offering these sessions on a donation-basis.
What is biodynamic craniosacral therapy? How does it work?
BCST is a gentle, non-invasive modality rooted in Indigenous (Cherokee) healing traditions that helps the body restore its own inherent health.
Throughout life, we have and will go through events that activate us — often into a fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response. However, we may not fully These experiences can compound and lead to increased chronic stress, inflammation, and discomfort in our bodies, manifesting in a myriad of conditions.
BCST involves trusting your body’s innate wisdom through deeply attuning, and listening to the rhythms of your nervous system. In this witnessing, the nervous system is supported in releasing tension and restrictions, especially chronic, longstanding holding patterns and conditions throughout the whole body.
What can I expect for a BCST session?
We begin with a check-in and align on what your goals are in receiving BCST. I encourage you to think across all aspects of health — physical, mental, spiritual, relational. You will remain clothed and then lie down face-up. We’ll take some breaths together before initiating contact. I’ll ask if you’re ready to begin and if you consent, I will gently place my hands on your body.
For remote sessions, I will attune to the energy of your nervous system through video call.
Note: This is NOT Usui reiki energy healing. For more on how this works , here’s my teacher explaining more about remote BCST.
While I will carry your goals for BCST in mind, I will enter the session with deep presence and curiosity, not judgment, for what your nervous system is ready to show me. Discharge of these restrictions can take on the form of subtle shifts in the body, tingling sensations, warming sensations, emotional release, and more. Moreover, things may come up that may seem irrelevant, but nonetheless are impactful and part of the restrictions or inflammations you experience.
